The Jesse Kelly for Congress campaign sent out a press release yesterday. Later that afternoon the left leaning Rum Romanism and Rebellion criticized the Kelly campaign for the statement, using the word “Alarmism.” The press release pointed out the staggeringly high debt that will result from the latest Giffords supported Obama spending spree. Tedski chastises Kelly for calling the bill (HR 3288) “pork-laden” and points out the bill was related to funding transportation and HUD, among other things. That did not keep the liberals from filling the bill full of earmarks for pet projects. Here is an article from the LA Times and a list of pork from Citizens Against Government Waste.

After Tedski finishes attacking Kelly for wanting to reduce deficit spending, he calls him out for being against the financial bill (HR 4173) sponsored by Rep. Barney Frank. The same economic genious who said Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were not a threat to the American economy. The inmates are running the asylum when Barney Frank is writing bills to save the economy from the “dangers of the private sector.”
It is hard to tell how the previously Teflon-coated Giffords will fare in 2010 but if the left wants to hang their hat on the Obama deficits and Barney Frank’s prescription for economic health, good luck with that.
* Fannie and Freddie went into conservatorship less than 2 months after this interview with Rep. Frank.
Hey, Ho! Giffords has got to go! It’s not alarmism if what you’re talking about is coming to pass. Huge debt. Tremendous inflation if China calls in the markers or doesn’t buy more. Huge job losses. And a government that seems to think the only way to solve it is a bigger government.

I can tell you how Giffords will fare in 2010. It will involve a pink slip and looking for employment elsewhere. Honestly, what does she expect after her disaster of a voting record this year? You can only do Pelosi’s bidding for so long before it comes back to bite you in the posterior. As I’ve said before and will continue to say, no man (or woman) can serve two masters. I know to whom I will be accountable as your congressman and it doesn’t involve any politician, Republican or Democrat in Washington. It will be the voters of CD8. Common sense is just a vote away. I already know my mission and how I will go about accomplishing it. I owe no one anything except to do what I say I will do and I am beholden to no one. Sadly, that is not the case with our current representative in Washington.
Hells to the ya Trodel we need 200 more Ron Pauls in congress and 60 more in the senate. So imma do my part and spread the word about Brian Miller who has signed the Taxpayer protection pledge, a term limit pledge, and is the only candidate that is going to bring our troops home from Afganistan. Brian Miller 2010!!
Gabby dug her own grave by voting for the Obamacare pyramid scheme. She would be better off moving out of the 8th district, and probably Arizona. Folks around here are not happy at all.
