She must being doing something right!

Written by Gila on Jul 9th, 2009.

State Senator Sylvia Allen earned the scorn of Keith Olbermann (a high honor for a true conservative.) Senator Allen is a champion for the proper development of our abundant natural resources. Allen is one of the few conservatives willing to expose the true intention of the “sustainability” movement. She correctly identifies it a nothing more than another far-left agenda bent on destroying the free market.

Congratulations to Senator Allen for her high rating from Pachyderm Coalition (third highest score in the Senate.) She should consider the Olbermann rebuke a great honor. We do.

The remark that that planet is 6000 years old has indeed made Allen the laughing stock of a lot of the country. It also made Daily Kos, gazillions of blogs, and many other news hubs besides Olbermann.

Thanks for clarifying that “sustainability” is actually a mission to destroy the free market. I was flimflammed into thinking it had to do with living in balance with the environment that “sustains” us. She’s right. We don’t need no stinking environmental protection. Environmental issues (post impact) had nothing to do with the demise of the dinosaurs. They just chose abstinence, and it was only a few hundred years ago. Adam and Eve played cards with velociraptors.

Satan turned dinosaur bones into fossils to fool people into believing in evolution. The same goes for glaciers, carbon dating, plate tectonics, and those pesky fruit flies and diseases that demonstrate evolution by mutating into stronger strains right before our eyes. The stars in the sky? Not millions of light years at all, just a few thousand. The moon is actually closer than Chicago.

Why cares how old the planet is. Sen. Allen is talking about mining uranium, a fuel for nuclear energy. Nuclear is a clean-burning (near zero carbon emissions) power souse that is powerful enough to actually replace oil and coal. That sounds sustainable to me.

Giffords reports on her own Twitter page that she wants to destroy 16,500 acres of BLM land for inefficient solar panels that will only supplement oil and coal but will not produce enough power to actually replace those carbon based forms of energy. When will you take off the blinders?
