Washington sends AZ a message…

Noticed on the news tonight that Washington  nailed Arizona in the head with some high heat after Arizona hit a towering home run.  It’s a common move when one team wants to send a message to another team.  Washington wanted to send Arizona a message.  Then I realized that baseball sure is a lot like life–geez, how much more [...]

Visit LA, It’s a Riot!

Recently the LA City Council and the LA County Board of Supervisors voted to boycott Arizona because of SB 1070. They are the shining city on the hill, you know.  City of Angels and all.  I’m sure all the people who would have gone to Arizona now want to flock to Los Angeles following [...]

Rialto Theater: Activism on your dime?

The folks running the Rialto Theater are apparently an extension of the activist Tucson City Council. When Cypress Hill threatened to cancel its Tucson appearance, the general manager of the city-owned theater, sent a submissively-toned letter to the band stating his “sincere hope” that they honor their contract.  The letter is here, be sure to [...]

Los Suns: Bienvenidos a Los E.U.

News item:  The Phoenix Suns wore jerseys with “Los Suns” as a show of protest against SB 1070.  That was a swing and a miss in the eyes of one Californian. Sometimes you have to wonder what they are thinking over at the U of A.  Some legislators must be scratching their heads. So I think that we are all aware of a $4B state budget deficit.  We’re bombarded with messaging from Democrat lawmakers, newspapers, television stations, students, about “devastating” cuts to education funding.  Lawmakers are forced with [...]

Chicago CINCs with Obama’s Help

We all heard how the world would now welcome America because Barack Obama had been elected President.  Well, it appears that the cache’ is not as strong as anticipated.  When our rock star President Obama personally went to pitch for getting the Olympics in his home town of Chicago, the committee apparently was not swayed as [...]

Good night for the Wildcats »

Good night for the Wildcats

Congratulations to the University of Arizona in their big win over ASU, 31 to 10. The first half was one mistake after another for U of A but they came alive in the 3rd quarter and didn’t look back. It’s always great when the Territorial Cup is back where it belongs.
